On thursday the 27th of march: we went to the art gallery firstly we got welcomed into the searjeant art gallery then when we walked in we seen a big waka walk way into the actual art gallery there was a very old stone at the bottom of the art gallery it looked very cool and nice.
It was made in 1919 it is 105 years old its about 17 million dollars for the building they had building another building next to the art gallery which looked very flash it was made of black stone and the art gallery building was made of sandstone it has been there for about 8-7 months it took ages to build it, there’s big paintings in there there’s stones eel catching nets big maori patterns a art room where u can draw with charcoal on a paper, there’s screens with peoples art from different schools, there’s a cafe next to the art gallery at the bottom .
The lady who had welcomed us was Vanessa. She was the lady who showed us around the whole place.
